Episode 3

"Ryan?" I called his name as I left my empty spoon in my mouth. "What are you doing at my table? Go and answer those girls!"
"No Natty!" He said as he shrugged "I prefer your company to theirs!" He told me absent-mindedly and I couldn't help but blush. He pointed a hand to his cheeks "You've got red spots, Natalia." He called my name completely and it sounded so good in my ears. Crushing on my family's enemy is really a bad idea but what can I do?
"Thank you, Ryan. But don't think its because of you."
"Oh really?" He asked as he scoffed. I was about to give him my reply until someone pulled my hair from behind and I turned to see those girls walking away. It'd be one out of the three girls.
"You see what I was talking about?"
"Its normal. Its a crime for me to sit with you." First day of school and I've gotten a few haters. Well, why won't they hate me? I am eating with a handsome guy. "Or maybe you've been eating with them but you just decided to change your ways because of me."
"No Natty!" He said out of fear "I'd would never associate with Brenda, Marley and Veron. They are this school's slay queens. You wouldn't wanna associate with them." Ryan finished and fear crept into my belly. I am in it already.
No one can save me!

I was about to carry my bag and head home when someone came to me and said
"The principal is calling you." He told me and he left. I dropped my bag and I hurried to the principal's office but before I could get there, I was dragged back into an empty classroom and I heard the door click. I was about to scream and yell until I saw the person that dragged me in here. None other than Brenda, Marley and Veron!
The slay queens!
"Natalia Jones!" One of them said as she got close to me "I am Brenda. Do you know I hate your guts? I have a feeling you'd be a threat to my relationship with Ryan."
"What?" My eyes opened in shock "You and Ryan have something going on?" A hot slap landed on my cheek and Brenda turned furiously to look at the girl that slapped me.
"Veron, did I ask you to hit her?" Brenda asked. They were busy arguing with each other and I used that as my opportunity to escape. I opened the door gently and I ran for my dear life
Marley's P.O.V
"Look! She is gone!" I told Brenda and she turned to look at the door but Natalia was nowhere to be found.
"She can't hide from me. Let's get outta here, girls." We all filed out of the classroom.
Ryan's P.O.V
I have been waiting for Natalia outside the school for a while now. I was about to go in search of her until I saw her coming out of the hallway. I smiled at her when our gaze met but she didn't smile at me. I got really scared. My fears later became unbearable when Natalia got to where I was and she walked past me.
Goodness! I felt as if a part of my heart exploded.
This can't be happening to me!

Episode 4
Ryan's P.O.V
I ran after Natalia and I grabbed her arms to face me. I was shocked to see tear stains on her face. She was actually crying!
"Natty,,,,,,, What's wrong?"
"Ryan!" She called my name weakly and I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. "What's your relationship with Brenda?"
Goodness! That question was a really funny and stupid question. I wanted to laugh but I couldn't 'cos of Natty's look. This girl, like seriously!
"Answer me, Ryan. Don't make me look stupid."
"No."
"No, what?"
"There's nothing between I and Brenda." Her question just made me remember what transpired between Brenda and I few months back. Brenda wrote a letter confessing her feelings for me but I turned her down. Ever since then, she has been so possessive but there is nothing serious between us. See how she made my Natty cry! I just feel like strangling her.
Holy geez! Where did that thought just come from?
I looked at Natalia but it was obvious she was not with me. So, I repeated myself and she looked at me with uncertainty. I was about to repeat what I said the third time until she flung herself into my arms and I heaved a sigh of relief. This girl can give someone a heart attack.
Natalia's P.O.V
I pulled away from Ryan and smiles lit up his face. This guy is so cute whenever he smiles. Why did I even become heartbroken when Brenda said she was in a relationship with Ryan? It is just a normal crush, right?
"So, that was what happened?"
I came back to reality and I felt lost. "What did you say?"
"N-A-T-A-L-I-A!!!!!!!!" He yelled "I've been talking for a while now but you did not even hear what I said "For goodness sakes, come here!" He tried to hit me but I ducked. "I said come here!" He came after me but I ran pretty fast. I am actually a good runner but I think my legs were no match for Ryan's as he caught up with me and we ended on the floor laughing.
Brenda's P.O.V
I was inside my car when I saw that new girl and my Ryan laughing and running after each other like lovers. Are they really lovers? Well, I don't care! Since my dad is a really good friend of the James, he promised me that Ryan will eventually become mine, that it was just a matter of time and I am really holding on to this promise. I told the driver to start the engine and he drove out of the school premises. Ryan James, you can't escape Brenda Thomas!
Jackson's P.O.V
I got home really tired and exhausted but as usual, there was no one at home. Mom and dad were still at work and they get home really late, at times, on weekdays but weekends is a time for family. I was about to go get a cup of water when I heard giggling and squealing outside. I rushed to the window and I pushed the curtain aside. I was surprised to see that idiot that made my sister to be involved in an accident this morning. I was even more shocked when I saw them holding hands. They think no one is at home but Ryan will be surprised to see me, fully prepared for him. He even had the guts to hold my sister's hands! I opened the door angrily and Natalia turned to look at me.
"Goodness!" She screamed as she removed her hand from Ryan's. I would have laughed with the look she had on her face but I was not in the mood for laughter. I dashed furiously at Ryan and I landed a punch in his face. He looked at me in shock as he fell on his butt

Episode 5
Natalia's P.O.V
"Hold it right there, young man!" I barked as I slapped Jackson hard on his face and he took few steps away from us as he looked at me with awe. Look at me, for the first time in my life, I hit my brother, all because of a guy. I turned to look at Ryan as i pulled him up from the ground.
"Sorry about this. We'd see at school tomorrow." I told him and he gave me one of those killer smiles. He wanted to hug me but Jackson pulled me away from his arms into the house. Jackson locked the door and he turned to look at me furiously.
"What was that all about?"
"You have no right to talk to me that way! Accord me some respect!"
"Damn respect! What if one of the parents caught you two together? Think for once in your life, Natalia!"
"You don't dare talk to me that way!" I raged as I slapped his other cheek and tears came down his cheeks.
Jackson's P.O.V
Why am I even crying? Natalia slapped me 'cos of a guy.
"Mom and dad will hear about this!" I said angrily as I dashed up the stairs. I could hear Natalia's footsteps getting closer but I hurried into my room and locked it. I sank onto the floor as I brought my knees to my chest.
"Ryan's P.O.V
"Oh my gosh, Ryan!" Mom screamed when she saw my bursted lip. "What happened to you?"
"Who did this to you?"
"Did you have a fight with someone?"
Those were the questions she was asking me as she looked at me with love and concern in her eyes but I couldn't bear to answer her. I don't wanna jeopardise my friendship with Natalia. Our friendship really means a lot to me.
Natalia's P.O.V
"Com'on, Jackson. Open up." I said as I knocked again.
"Go away. I don't wanna talk to you."
"Jackson......."
"Leave me alone, Natalia." He snapped
"Okay, fine!" I snapped too "I'd leave you alone but if you tell mom and dad, you'd never get to call me sister again, ever, in your life." I spat as I walked away. Of course that was just a mere threat. I can't do anything like that. I opened the door to my bedroom and I dropped heavily on the bed.
Jackson's Pov
Natalia's words continued to ring in my head. Can she do that? Threat or no threat, I can't expose my sister. Mom and dad would definitely kill her but what happens when she is really caught? The sound of two angry voices bickering outside made me stand up and head over to the window.
I pulled open the drapes and as usual, it was mr Jones and mr James. They were at it again.
"Get in people, you are disturbing the peace of the neighbourhood." Mrs Smooch shouted at the both of them but they gave her no listening ear.
I watched them closely and when I discovered they were getting physical, I dashed out of my room. Where is Ryan to separate his dad from my dad?
I opened the front door and I stoppe d dead on my tracks.
"Dad, watch out!"
