💓WRESTLE OF LOVE(you are mine) 💓

~~~~CHAPTER ONE(1)~~~~
ANNABETH stood in front of her dressing mirror,tears streaming down her cheeks. Since she got married to Justin, two days ago, she has been shedding tears like it was her normal routine.
Every woman's dream is to get married to the man she loves and vice-versa. Justin Canarro was everything she desired in a man. He was her heart and everything.
She remembered how she met him six months ago. She had been working at the restaurant DE LU as a waitress then. A regular customer had walked into the restaurant and had rejected all offers of what to eat or drink until she went to meet him.
"Hello, sir." She had said as she flashed one of her sweetest smiles. The man had raised his head and he had said to her, "wow! I like this."
Anne had blushed as she received his orders.
And then, from there, the man had been frequenting the restaurant all because of her. Later on, they went on so many trips together, had fun and she fell in love with him along the way.
How she wished her eyes had been opened to see the truth.
Afterwards, the man which she got to know as Justin Canarro, the first heir to Canarro Inc proposed to her and she gave him a positive answer without thinking twice.
Why would she think twice?
It was her dream to get a ring from the man she loved.
Though, getting married in a small village away from the world at large was against her idea of a perfect wedding but still, she took it on.
She had gotten married to Justin in a small church, in front of a priest, his dad and her uncle.
On their wedding night, Justin had said he had no love to give her even though she had chanted the words "I love you" to him, more than a dozen times.
"I needed our marriage certificate to show the shareholders of Canarro Inc and my dad that I can manage the company as a family man, not as the playboy they termed me to be."
Justin's words rang in her ears once more as her body shook with tears.
She had married him because she loved him.
She had married him because she wanted to spend the rest of her life and grow old with him and now, he has given her a very spectacular wedding night to remember.
"You can decide to stay in this loveless marriage for six months with some rules and then, call it quits or, you can decide to stay with me, without love and we'd enjoy what life entails together."
His words came to her once again.
Did she have a choice?
The workers at the restaurant knows she is married even though they were not invited, she can't go back there.
She couldn't even dream of going back to her parents house.
Every of her friends knew she is a married woman now.
If she leaves suddenly, tongues will wag.
Talks will arise!
So, what should she do?
If the marriage ends in six months, it would look as if they grew tired of each other, so, tongues won't wag, right?
If she decides to stay with him for long, who knows what lies in store for her?
She wiped the last of her tears.
Its just for six months.
She combed her hair and she styled it in a neat bun at the top of her head.
She looked at herself once more in the mirror, satisfied with her looks, she stood up and she went out of the room.
She went down the stairs and she saw Justin pouring himself a cup of brandy. She looked at the bottle, it's content had been drained halfway.
"Morning, Anne." He said as he looked at the bottle.
She nodded as she walked over to him.
"It's too early for alcohol." She said as she tried to collect the cup from him but he held on to it tightly.
"I'm not drunk, Annabeth. I need it to clear my head. We'd be going back to my villa tomorrow. Enough of this honeymoony thingy. I have loads of work waiting for me at the company. Eyes would be watching us, Anne. Don't you think we need to behave like a real couple? Reporters would be lurking around too. Even though our marriage was conducted in a small and quiet place, the paparazzi would make it elaborate and plaster our face all over their paper, what do you think, Anne?"
"You talk too much, you know?" She frowned. "Why are you even seeking my opinion?" She asked with obvious spite. "You never sought out my opinion in the first place. Why do you need it now?"
"Anne.........." He called silently.
"I feel its your game. Do whatever you wanna do but I don't want this. Do whatever you have to do to stop this. I don't want the paparazzi anywhere near me." She said as she looked into his eyes, her eyes shooting daggers at him.
He took her hand suddenly and she snatched it back from him, already feeling conscious of the sensation that snaked up her arms where their palms met.
"I know you are mad at me, Anne. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings. I'm really sorry."
She chuckled lightly. "You don't know how angry I am, Justin but don't worry, I've made my decision. I would do this for you because I..........." Love you.
The words died in her throat.
She couldn't bring herself to say it to him again.
"Anyway," she shrugged. "I'd do this fake thing your lured me into for six months and believe me Canarro, after six months, I'd walk away without looking back." She said as tears threatened to spill out of her eyes. She turned her back to him suddenly.
She would not show him her tears again.
He had seen enough of her tears.
She cleaned her face and she faced him. "Is there anything you'd like to eat?" She asked, suddenly changing the topic.
"Yes." Justin replied as he discarded the cup of brandy. "A hangover soup!"
"I thought you said you were not drunk."
"I'm beginning to feel tipsy."
"But, I could poison it, you know?" She said as she glared at him.
Justin grinned.
Finally!
This was the first time he smiled sincerely since they moved into the house two days ago.
Anne thought wryly.
"You wouldn't dare, Fur."
Anne's breath hitched as Justin used her pet name. Fur was a name he gave her because she loved animals with Furs.
"Do you have to call me that?"
"What? Fur?"
"Yes, you don't.............."
"I'm about to retch, Fur."
"I'd prepare that soup right away." She said as a matter-of-fact before strolling away.
Justin chuckled as he watched Anne's retreating figure. Anne was fun and sweet to be with. Though, he does not regret meeting her, he couldn't love her or any other woman at that. He thought back to what Scarlet, his fiancee, did to him four years ago. Scarlet had disappeared on their wedding day, leaving him all heartbroken and sad at the altar. He swore within himself not to give any woman that power over him. Love weakens, it destroys, those were his thoughts about love since this incident, some months later, he heard Scarlet was married to another man, a man richer than he was as at that time and look at how he is today, he could beat his chest proudly and say he is ten times richer than that man.
He has been involved with so many ladies; flings, one-night stands, a day girlfriend, just name it, Justin was the king of them all. His last scandal shook the foundations of Canarro Inc. The shareholders told him to get married and settle down or else they'd draw their support from him and direct it to his twin brother.
He chuckled as he remembered the look on Julian's face.
Julian liked to be free and he was the king of parties.
He loved partying.
He believes managing a company would shatter all his dreams, so, he had urged Justin to get married as soon as possible.
He was really angry when he discovered that Justin had gotten married without him because he was not in town.
Justin had begged and begged before he was forgiven.
Anne knows he has a twin brother but she has never seen him. She would be really shocked when they meet because they are identical twins.
The six months they spent together was like an eye opener for them because there is virtually nothing they didn't know about each other.
They know each other's wicknesses and soft spots.
Anne knows Justin has soft spots for the motherless babies, that's why he dedicates a huge chunk of money to different homes every six months.
Anne, on the other hand, has a soft spot for little children, no matter how big or small the child is.
That's why she took it upon herself to go visit Amazon's creche once every week, that is, every Wednesdays.
Justin hated to do something against his will while Anne hated to be bossed around.
Justin is 30 while Anne is 28.
They were two people from different worlds but marriage, even though its not real, brought them together and they'd be in it for six months.
Anne opened the pot as she savoured the aroma of her soup.
"This isn't bad!" She said as she put off the cooker.
"Come and get your soup, Justin."
Justin showed up in the doorway, almost immediately, as if he was lurking around.
He came into the kitchen and he sniffed.
"You are amazing as always, Fur." He said sweetly and Anne blushed.
"Thanks for that." Justin tried to lift the pot with his bare hands but Anne stopped him.
"Don't be stupid, Canarro........Use a napkin!"
Justin widened his eyes as he looked at her. "Did you just call me stupid?"
She shook her head. "Of course, I didn't." She took off with Justin trailing closely behind her
He caught her and they fell on the floor, laughing wildly.
After a moment of silence, Justin turned to look at her.
"I'm sorry,Anne!" He said once again and she turned to look at him, so that their eyes met.
"For what?!" She asked as she stared deeply into those deep blue eyes.
"For what I'm about to say."
She braced herself for another blow to her heart.
"I'm really grateful to you for showing me this part of yourself. I had forgotten how sweet you could be."
"Stop the prelude, Justin. Go straight to the point." She said, still staring into his eyes.
He frowned.
"How do you expect me to do that when you are looking me straight in the eye?"
She muttered an apology as she looked away.
"I wanna say when we go back to our real lives tomorrow...........I want to eat your meal every blessed day 'till our six months is over."
She laughed richly as she looked back at him. "You were beating around the bush just for that?" She laughed again.
"Okay, then....................I need to prepare .........." She glanced at the wallclock "lunch............don't forget your soup."
She stood up.
"Do I still look drunk to you?"
"You are not wasting that soup!"
She turned around and she walked away.
He frowned again.
The words he wanted to say, I might hurt you with my actions, he knew it was meant to happen 'cos he was not married for love.
He married because of his father and the company.
********
Annabeth laid on her bed as she stared at the ceiling. She counted the number of bulbs on the chandelier before she got bored.
She drew the covers over her head as she sighed. She turned to the other side of the queen-sized bed and she frowned.
It would have been better if her husband was occupying the empty space beside her.
Tears rolled down her cheeks again.
Her wedding night, a night to remember!
He didn't marry her because of love.
"Annabeth, brace yourself for the worst." She admonished herself.
She was bound to get hurt anyway because Justin favoured working than been idle. The company could be described as his life.
If anything happens to the company, just consider him a dead man.
The time they were together, Justin had placed a lot of priority over the company than on her as a human being, she didn't give this a thought but now that she thought about it, its going to happen for sure.
Whenever Justin placed greater value over the company, she would get mad,there was a time he forgot about their date, he left her alone at the restaurant 'till midnight when he came.
Annabeth was really mad at him.
She rained all the curse words she could think of on him and she stormed away angrily.
If she was going to get really angry and walk away just like that, why did she wait all night for him?
She laughed as she remembered that day.
Justin had showered her with gifts and the one that really got her, were the chocolates.
She loves chocolates!
Her eyelids grew heavy.
How would it be this time?
She thought as she drifted off to dreamland.
Arriving Canarro's villa the next day was frightening for Anne because they were about to face reality.
The last time she went to Justin's house on the outskirts of the city, she didn't meet or see any maids or guards in their well-tailored attire, so, what are these ones doing here?
She looked at the house once more and she couldn't help but marvel.
The house stood on a rock as it overlooked the smaller houses around it.
From a ground, even if it was lower than where she stood, a person could see the front view of the house which was painted in white. The house spoke of wealth, money, power, authority, that's why it belongs to a man like Justin Canarro. She looked over to the guards and maids who were standing on the last steps of the house with their heads bowed. She jolted suddenly as Justin placed his arms around her. She tried to protest but Justin whispered into her ear. "We are married couples who are still in love."
She laughed suddenly as she hit his shoulder. "Oh! That was so funny!" She said as she continued to laugh.
Justin looked at her wryly before a smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
Was that real or a charade?
Did she really say that because it was a lie or-she was trying to act like a woman in love who laughed lovingly at a comment her husband made?
She is so full of mysteries!
I'm just getting to know her now!
He thought to himself as he passed the long queue of guards and maids who parted for them to walk through.
Immediately  they stepped into the house, through the front door, Anne's lips parted in shock.
Is this a house or a palace?
